Who is BusyGrammie?
I am someone that loves quilting! I want to be able to pass the art of quilting on to others. One way of reaching out to others is through the internet. That is why I started my first internet quilting group. The name of it was: Antique Block Swap. It all started with me finding some antique quilt blocks among some vintage fabric I purchased from a private individual in 1998. I thought it was time to bring all those "old" patterns back to life. Here I am now 4 years later. Now I'm giving online quilting classes for those that can't come to me. This way I'm reaching quilters all around the world.

I wanted to branch out:
After a while I realized the list needed some changes. Not many were wanting to swap any more. This past winter (2001/2002) I did a "Mystery" quilt. Was planning on it going for 2 months. Ended up being about 5 months. Now that I know what I'm doing I can honestly say the next one will be 4 months. Sept - Dec.

They wanted more:
When I noticed there were several beginner quilters on the list I decided to offer some online classes. The first class was how to make an "Attic Windows" quilt. We just recently had one on how to make a "Quillow". I'm open to any suggestions for a class as long as it pertains to "sewing". Not just quilting. The online classes are done using Yahoo Messenger. Very easy to set up. Ask me how and I'll help you get it done.
